Tariffs
All
trail tariffs include an experienced and
knowledgeable guide. All hikes include an accredited guide. Unless specifically stated, tariffs
exclude beverages, transfer fees and gratuities and all costs of a personal
nature (please refer to
your specific itinerary). Fynbos Trails will endeavour to maintain prices quoted, but reserves the right to
change prices without incurring obligations.

Deposits
20%
with booking of a trail / hike, balance 2 weeks before the trail / tour commences.
Payment
may be made in cash, or by direct bank deposit. Please note that we do
not have cheque or credit card facilities.
Neither
deposit nor full payment will be refunded unless a replacement is found by the
client. No refunds are given if a person leaves a trail before it ends.
Please
advise us in advance if you or anyone in your party have any special dietary
requirements or allergies.
All
riding guests, hikers etc. are required to sign a standard indemnity form on arrival and
international visitors are advised to obtain medical, travel etc. insurance
before
leaving their country of origin. All participation in activities is at the
guest's
own risk.
In
cases of severely inclement weather causing the enforced cancellation of a
trail ride, Fynbos Trails will reschedule the trail/hike to another suitable date. Cancellation of rides/hikes is at the sole discretion of
Fynbos Trails.
All
riding guests need to provide information on their approximate weight, height and riding ability
to allow us to ensure that we have suitable horses allocated for them. Please
note that there is a weight limit of 100Kg on riders.
Although
every effort will be made to follow the itinerary, these programs are subject
to change or substitution. Trail times are subject to variation.
All trails and hikes are scheduled on
request.
Fynbos
Trails reserves the right to substitute accomodation with a similar
standard of accomodation.
Unfortunately we do not mail printed brochures.
All written correspondence is conducted by e-mail.
All
baggage and personal effects are at all times the responsibility of the
participants and Fynbos Trails cannot accept liability.
It
is our policy to ensure complete confidentiality of all information provided
to Fynbos Trails. No contact or other details are divulged to any
third parties.
For
the safety and pleasure of yourself and others in the party, please be honest
with us regarding your riding ability and experience. Riding guests must be confident at the rising
trot and canter, and able to cope with long hours in the saddle.
Our full day, two day and three day horse trails are for competent riders only.
We can accommodate novice riders on
short trails of up to a maximum of 2 hours long. We reserve the right to judge the competence of, and to
dismount any rider, who in the guide's opinion, is unable to control their
horse or in any way poses a threat to the safety of themselves, other riders,
members of the public or the horses. All trails are conducted according to the ability of the riders.
Participation in trails and
hikes is at your own
risk. Fynbos Trails, its proprietor, employees and all its agents (including
Obiqualand Tours and accommodation establishments) will not be held responsible for
and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any
loss, damage, theft, injury, accident or loss sustained by any person or their
property. Fynbos
Trails are not liable for any arrangements with other parties not
arranged by Fynbos Trails.
