Our full day and multi-day horse trails are for competent riders only.
We are unfortunately not able
to provide riding lessons, however novice riders are welcome for rides of up
to a maximum of two hours long.
What breed of horses do you use?
Mainly Non-Thoroughbreds (i.e. cross breeds), Thoroughbreds, Friesians,
etc.
What saddles do you use?
Mainly General Purpose English saddles (no western
saddles).
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
Due to its Mediterranean climate, Cape Town is a pleasure to visit
throughout the year. Typically the best months are December to April.
Bear in mind that the days can be very hot for riding and hiking between December and March,
which is why we like to make an early start and have a long lunch break.
How far is Fynbos Horse Trails from Cape Town?
We are about 45 minutes drive from Cape Town along good tarred roads.
