Budget Horse Trails

These horse trails are designed for those who wish to experience the beauty and wonder of the Winelands from horseback on a limited budget. The focus is on riding through our local mountain fynbos, vineyards and olive orchards. Guests are taken to wine farms, an olive producer and also get to taste some of the excellent local cuisine. At the end of each day, guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the foothills of the Limietberg mountains in the comfortable and friendly Bakkies Bed and Breakfast.

Two and Three Day Trails:

Enjoy the breathtaking scenic beauty of the Berg River Valley winding through the unspoilt Hawequa Mountains, with pit stops for the  tasting of excellent local wines, olives and olive oil. Lazy evenings can be spent exploring the local Boland or just lazing at the comfortable bed and breakfast. Please note that these trails do not include transport between Bakkies Bed and Breakfast and Diemersfontein stables.
